Loved this! I had not heard the word “boink” since I was in college. I didn’t know the British had the same word with the same meaning.

Great. I rolled on to this from “In Our Time” on a Roman Emperor. So key question. Is boink v bonk a north south divide thing? Surely boink is derived from sprung mattresses/bedsprings and post dates Charles II?
